Campus Masterplan
PROJECTS: ALL
University of York
The original University of York campus, Heslington West, was developed during the 1960’s using CLASP system buildings that are reaching the end of their useful life. This masterplan study shows how the campus is likely to develop over the next 10 years.
As architects working closely with the University’s Estates team the capacity of the individual sites was reviewed looking at the demand and the likely scale and type of accommodation.
Proposals also needed to consider the logistics and phasing of the works. The final presentation was prepared to clearly demonstrate the scale and sequence of the works to the University’s senior management and internal stakeholders.
